• Pet information: name, species, posts, images, comments.
• Technical data: device type, OS version, language, unique identifiers.
• Usage data: app interactions (likes, comments, posts).
• Approximate location data (3-digit coordinate precision), voluntarily submitted by the user.

3. Third-party Authentication

We use third-party services to authenticate users and create accounts:

• Google Sign-In (Google LLC)
• Apple Sign In (Apple Inc.)
• Facebook Login (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

When signing in with one of these services, we collect your public profile information such as your name (display name), email address, and profile picture. This data is used solely for authentication and account creation, and is not shared with third parties.

4. Purpose of Processing

• To ensure the proper functioning of the app.
• To connect users with similar interests (pet owners).
• To display nearby content based on location (optional).
• To detect and fix technical issues.
• To authenticate and manage user accounts.

5. Legal Basis

• User consent.
• Performance of a contract (use of the app).
• Legitimate interest to improve the service.

6. Data Storage and Location

Personal data is stored using Google Firebase, hosted in the europe-west3 region (Frankfurt, Germany), in accordance with the GDPR.

7. Use of Third-party Services

We use the following services to improve the app's performance:

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): for error and crash reporting.
• Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.): for real-time error tracking.
• Google Places API: to convert coordinates to pluscode addresses.

These services do not access identifiable personal data and are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

8. User and Pet Location

The app allows users to voluntarily register the approximate location of themselves or their pets (coordinates limited to 3 digits). This data is converted to pluscodes using the Google Places API. Users can edit or delete this data at any time. Location data is not used for advertising or tracking.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Only the technical providers listed above may access data required to perform their services.

10. Data Retention

We retain data as long as the user's account is active. Users may delete their data at any time through the app.

11. User Rights

• Access, rectify, or delete their personal data.
• Request data portability.
• Object to processing or withdraw consent.
• File a complaint with a data protection authority.

12. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

13. Children’s Privacy

The app intended for adults over 18. If we become aware that data has been collected from a minor without parental consent, it will be deleted.

14. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy. Users will be notified of any significant changes via the app or other communication channels.
